MWS Oak TreeOur Oak Tree is special to us.
Think of how many outside classes it has attended. Think of how many kickball games it has kept score of. It may know every schoolyard game there is to share on the blacktop. Our Oak Trees have seen it all through many years of MWS scholars growing and playing together. It has also provided shade through many Sunfests and times when we needed to cool off. It has drank so much ground water to keep erosion from pushing mud on our blacktop. It has provided food for our insects and squirrels. Mostly, it has been a steady friend for all who have come to touch it and lean on it through our days. Thanks Oak Trees. |
