MOUNT WASHINGTON PRESERVATION TRUST
The Mount Washington Preservation
Trust (MWPT) has planted and maintained over 40 public gardens in Mt.
Washington over its 23 year history and does so with the largest volunteer
effort of its kind in the greater Baltimore area. They meet on Sunday mornings
from 9-11. MWIA occasionally meets at The Mount Washington
School. They have installed "Tiger Mountain Loop", a trail
system for the hillside meadow and rain gardens on the playground. MWIA has also partnered with The Mount Washington School to install fencing for the new rain garden in the Outdoor Classroom,
planted by our 6th graders and Blue Water Baltimore, mulching the native learning garden in the back of the
school, weeding, and planting beds in the front of the school.
